Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026. This policy describes what personal data we collect, what we use it for, and what rights you have over it.

1. Data controller

BÄR Calisthenics ("BÄR", "we") with address in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is responsible for processing the personal data collected through this site. Contact: barcalisthenics.co@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

  • Identification and contact data: first name, last name, email, phone, shipping and billing address.
  • Transaction data: products purchased, amounts, payment method (we never store your full card number; it's processed by the payment gateway).
  • Browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, visit source, and interactions with the site, collected via cookies and similar technologies (see Cookie Policy).
  • Data you give us voluntarily when writing to us by email, forms, or social media.

3. What we use it for

  • Process and deliver your orders, issue receipts, and manage exchanges, returns, and warranties.
  • Answer questions and provide support.
  • Send you communications about your order and, with your consent, news and offers (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • Measure and improve how the site works.
  • Run advertising and campaign measurement, including personalized advertising on third-party platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google.
  • Comply with legal, tax, and consumer protection obligations.

4. Advertising and the Meta pixel

We use the Meta pixel and equivalent tools (for example, the Conversions API) to measure how effective our ads are, build custom audiences and similar features, and show you relevant ads on Facebook, Instagram, and other Meta Platforms, Inc. services.

These tools collect data about your browsing on this site (pages viewed, products added to cart, purchases) and link it to your Meta account if you have one. Meta acts as an independent controller for the data it processes. You can manage your ad preferences from your Meta account settings, or limit collection by declining advertising cookies on this site.

5. Who we share your data with

  • Payment gateways (for example, Mercado Pago) to process payments.
  • Logistics operators and couriers to make deliveries.
  • Technology service providers (hosting, email, analytics).
  • Advertising platforms (Meta, Google) under the terms of section 4.
  • Public authorities where legally required.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

6. Your rights (Law 25.326)

As the data owner, you have the right to access, rectify, update, and delete your personal data free of charge, at intervals no shorter than six months, except where there is a legitimate interest. To exercise these rights, email barcalisthenics.co@gmail.com stating your order and a way to verify your identity.

The Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP), the oversight body for Law No. 25.326, is authorized to handle complaints and claims related to non-compliance with personal data protection rules.

7. Retention and security

We keep your data for as long as there's an active business relationship, and for the periods required by tax and consumer protection regulations. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to minimize the risks.

8. Minors

This site is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if we find out this has happened, we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We'll publish the current version on this page along with its update date. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
